jeden.day – habit tracker

An exercise habit tracker that fits your schedule

An exercise routine does not have to mean doing the same thing every day. A class has a fixed day; a walk may fit wherever there is time. jeden.day lets you record either shape and see your history in one grid. It tracks the routine you choose, without prescribing a workout programme.

Choose flexible exercise days or fixed weekdays

A checkmark goal such as "Exercise three times per week" counts any three days marked done. Put what counts as exercise in the habit description so you use the same definition each time. Two workouts on one day still count as one day toward this quota.

If your routine follows a class timetable, choose its weekdays instead. Monday and Thursday become due days, and the other days are off the schedule. These are examples of how to describe your own routine, rather than advice on how often to exercise.

Record minutes or distance when a checkmark is not enough

An amount habit can record walking minutes or kilometres, with a target per day or a total across the week. A daily threshold counts each day against that threshold; a weekly total adds together everything entered during the week. Keep different units in separate habits so their numbers retain a clear meaning.

Enter the amount yourself in the day panel. Use Set for the day's total or Add after another outing. There is no automatic fitness import, route recording, or exercise detection: the record contains what you enter, combined into one amount per day for each habit.

Distinguish an off day from a skipped day

On a weekday schedule, a day you did not select is already off; you do not need to skip it. With a weekly quota, the goal is the required number of days across the period, so a blank day alone does not mean you missed the week.

When you deliberately set a day aside, Skip day makes it neutral for the streak. A note such as "Travelling" can explain the choice. Writing a note by itself leaves the day uncompleted and does not apply a skip.

Look back at what fit into the week

Use the grid to review exercise days or recorded amounts, and open notes for the details behind them. The year view shows the longer pattern and totals for the period on screen. During a weekly review, compare your planned days with the days that worked in practice. If a regular class moved, update its weekdays; if the days vary, a weekly quota may describe the routine more accurately.

Questions

Will rest days break my exercise streak?

Days outside a selected-weekday schedule are not missed due days. A weekly quota is judged over its period, so you can leave days blank and still meet the week. A deliberately skipped day is neutral for the streak. Choose a schedule that reflects the days you intend to exercise.

Can I sync workouts from a watch or health app?

There is no built-in fitness or health-app integration. Mark an exercise day yourself, or manually enter an amount from another record. The habit tracker does not track a workout in the background.

Can I track different exercise routines separately?

Yes. Give each routine its own habit, such as a checkmark for attending a class and an amount for walking distance. Each can have its own schedule and target. A daily note adds context, but it is not a structured log of exercises, sets, and repetitions.
