jeden.day – habit tracker
A HabitNow alternative beyond Android
HabitNow is a popular Android planner that mixes habits with tasks: goals by day, week or month, categories, reminders and alarms, widgets, a calendar of both, all working offline with a one-time premium upgrade for more capacity and cloud backup. It does not exist on iPhone or the web. If your household has both kinds of phone, or you want the record on a computer, this page sets out what jeden.day does with the same needs.
What HabitNow is
HabitNow Daily Routine Planner is an Android app for phones and tablets. Habits take goals per day, week or month and sit beside one-off and recurring tasks in one calendar; reminders and alarms, timers, streaks and charts, widgets and categories come in the free version, and a one-time premium purchase lifts the capacity limits and adds cloud backup tied to a Google account. It works offline with local storage and manual export and import.
Why people look for an alternative
The platform. HabitNow has no iOS, desktop or web version, so switching to an iPhone or wanting the list on a laptop ends the record. Sync between two Android devices depends on the premium cloud backup rather than being how the app works.
Some also want a habit tracker rather than a planner: no task list, no calendar of appointments, just the grid of what was done on which day.
How jeden.day is different
It runs in the browser on every device, and an account — passwordless, an emailed link or code and then a passkey — syncs the grid between them. It is only a habit tracker: one row per habit, one column per day, no tasks. Schedules include quotas per week or month, chosen weekdays, every N days, days of the month, and totals summed over a period; limits carry an allowance and a daily limit can allow days over it; measurable habits take a number against a target.
You can use all of it without an account, and it is currently free with no premium tier. Everything downloads as one file, and there are no ads or third-party analytics.
What HabitNow has that jeden.day does not
A task list and calendar beside the habits, reminders and alarms, timers, widgets, and fully offline use with local storage. If you want one app for the day's to-dos and habits, on Android, with no network involved, HabitNow is built for exactly that.

Questions
Does jeden.day have tasks and a calendar?
No. It tracks habits only. A due-day schedule marks the days a habit is due, but there is no to-do list.
Does jeden.day work offline?
No. Marking a day needs a connection; there is no offline queue. HabitNow's offline-first design is a real difference.
Can I import a HabitNow backup?
No. Habits are re-created by hand; jeden.day imports only its own export format.
